Your view of the world will change.
Your contribution to the world will change.

~ The New Radicals, Julia Moulden

After moving through some life challenges both in my corporate career and personally, and observing those around me adapting to unexpected change, I became intrigued by methods of self-care that complement traditional medicine. With that as my starting point, I returned to school to learn more about methods that promote a sense of overall wellbeing as we age.  Many have been practiced for thousands of years. That path led me to consulting opportunities related to aging, from the development of age-related technology to later-life work and career development.

Over time the desire to counter the media negativity associated with aging led me to create Inspired Aging. My own experience speaks to the empowerment aging brings. It’s about individuals who are actively seeking a sense of wellbeing, creating new definitions of ‘work’, and exploring interests that had been dormant for years. They inspire me. My hope is that their stories, and the practical learnings that I have drawn from them, will in turn inspire you.
